Scholarship applications for Northern Michigan University students enrolling in the 2022-23 academic year will be available from Monday, Jan. 24, through Monday, Feb. 21.
Students can submit the application using the online system through MyNMU. Current students can apply by clicking Financial Aid–Donor-Funded Scholarships under the student services tab. New students can use the NMU Foundation Donor-Funded Scholarships link found under the Admitted to NMU tab in MyNMU.
“Without this critical aid, many students would not be able to attend school, continue their education or take advantage of new experiences,” said Andrew Hill, the NMU Foundation's director of annual giving. “Our donors understand this and give generously so that NMU students can focus on their education and stay on course toward completing their degrees.
“I encourage all students to take advantage of this opportunity and explore what scholarships are a good match. There are many scholarships available and criteria can vary, so use the scholarship system to aid your search, seek guidance from faculty and remember Financial Aid Office staff are here to make the process easy for you.”
