Virtual Lecture on the Afghanistan Withdrawal Offered Monday

Northern Michigan University is presenting a virtual lecture by Adam Weinstein titled “The Afghanistan Withdrawal” from 7-8:15 p.m. Monday, Sept. 27. The lecture will focus on U.S. intervention in Afghanistan, the resurgence of the Taliban and the fall of Kandahar and Kabul. 

Weinstein is a research fellow at the Quincy Institute and former Marine deployed to Afghanistan in 2012. He will provide a non-partisan assessment of the current situation and offer his perspective on the future of American foreign policy. Read Weinstein's biography at https://quincyinst.org/author/aweinstein/.
