NCLL Presents Program on Traveling Dentistry

The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will present “Bringing Smiles Across the Miles” from 7-8:45 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, in the heritage room at Peter White Public Library.

Dr. Gwen Buck of Northern Trails Dental Care will share her experiences doing dentistry without electricity via organizations including Flying Doctors of America. She will discuss how she practiced and what she learned about herself, others and life in general. The presentation will be filled with trivia, fun facts and photos.

The cost is $3 for NCLL members and $6 for non-members. Register by Monday, Nov. 11, by calling event liaison Sally Olsen at 226-8347 or emailing solsen@nmu.edu.

The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning is organized by and primarily for actively engaged seniors interested in pursuing intellectual, recreational and/or social activities.
