Cyberlaw, Fake News, Data Collection Explored

The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning presents "Cyberlaw, Fake News, Data Collection and Your Rights" from 2-4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, in the heritage room at the Peter White Public Library. 

Attendees will learn what cyberlaw is, rights to data security and privacy, the legalities of data collection, how to differentiate between real and fake news and much more. NMU professor and industry expert Margo Vroman will lead the discussion and provide insight for navigating the world of cybersecurity.

The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning is organized by and primarily for actively engaged seniors interested in pursuing intellectual, recreational and/or social activities.
