Northern Michigan University 1988 accounting alumna Lynette Lorenz recently signed a three-year contract as the new county administrator for Iron County. She retains the financial and human resources duties she completed as an administrative assistant before being promoted internally.
“I think it's a great opportunity,” said Lorenz in an Iron Mountain Daily News story. “I think my background has prepared me well for it.”
Prior to moving to Iron County in early 2017, Lorenz worked at UP Health System-Marquette for 28 years in payroll and also oversaw billing for a number of agencies with LifePoint Healthcare.
