NMU will host a highly interactive Business After Hours open to the general public from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, at Harden Hall (formerly the Learning Resources Center). The event will demonstrate how technology is enhancing the facility's services and resources for both community and educational use.

Simply Superior will provide food featuring Fiera's and Sundre, along with a cash bar. There will also be a Sayklly's chocolate table and prizes, including a personal VR headset package.

The Central U.P. and NMU Archives will display the gun used in the real crime depicted in Anatomy of a Murder. It also will have documentation related to the film's production and the papers of author John Voelker available for review.

Other participating entities and their hands-on activities are:

Public TV 13 and Public Radio 90: Tour the broadcast studios and sets, see the green screen, play a round of High School Bowl, record a radio ID and break down favorite songs on the audio board in the control room.

Audio-Visual Services: Experience the instructional light board in Studio 102 and view interactive HD video conferencing across the hall in room 109.

Lydia Olson Library: Sample virtual reality (VR), learn about resources and get the first year of Community Borrower privileges free.
