The ticket purchase deadline is Tuesday, Sept. 10 for Northern Michigan University's Green and Gold Gala. The event will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 at the newly renovated Northern Center. Proceeds will benefit the NMU Student Flexible Aid Endowed Fund, which provides urgently needed financial resources so that students can stay in school when unanticipated expenses threaten their education.
Tickets are $150 for the general public, with $75 recognized as a charitable contribution, and $100 for faculty and staff.

Cocktails will be served at 6 p.m., with the program and dinner starting at 7 p.m. Dessert and dancing will follow. Certified Executive Chef Nathan Mileski has crafted the menu.
