Northern Michigan University students, faculty and staff are invited to provide feedback on broadband barriers impacting internet access across the state during a community listening session hosted on campus by Lt. Gov. Garlin Gilchrist and the Michigan High Speed Internet Office (MIHI).
The MIHI is traveling the state as part of its MI Connected Future listening tour. The feedback received will be directly incorporated into the Michigan Five Year Broadband Action Plan and the Michigan Digital Equity Plan.
The session at NMU is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 18, in Northern Center Peninsula Rooms 1 and 2. Space is limited to 100 people. Register here by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15. Light refreshments will be served. Attire is business casual.
