NMU Blueberry Classic Golf Outing July 27

Past Blueberry Classic

The eighth annual Northern Michigan University Blueberry Classic golf outing will be held Friday, July 22, at the NMU Golf Course in Chocolay Township. Funds raised at the event benefit NMU students who encounter unexpected financial challenges. Golfers of all levels are welcome to participate.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. and teams will tee off at 10. The event follows a shotgun scramble format over 18 holes, some of which feature special activities. A $100 per person registration fee covers greens fees plus shared cart, a brunch before play begins and heavy appetizers afterward. For more information or to register, visit www.nmu.edu/blueberryclassic.

The NMU Student Flexible Aid Fund created by the event is a resource to which students can apply for help in covering costs such as auto repairs, medical bills, child care and course expenses not covered by financial aid.
