NMU to Host Marquette-Alger College Fair

Northern Michigan University will host the Marquette/Alger Counties College Fair on Wednesday, Sept. 19, at the Don H. Bottum University Center Great Lakes Rooms. The program will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. and is open to high school students and their parents.

Representatives from about 40 colleges and universities, including several outside of Michigan, will be present to answer questions about academic programs, costs, support services, and campus life. Staff from NMU's Financial Aid Office will be available to answer questions and representatives from the Armed Forces and NMU's ROTC program will also attend.

Participating high schools will come from the Superior Central, Gwinn, Ishpeming, NICE, Marquette, Munising, Negaunee, Burt Township and Republic-Michigamme school districts.

Students are able to pre-register for the event online at gotocollegefairs.com. By pre-registering students will only have to input their information once and they will be able to share personal information with representatives from multiple colleges by scanning a barcode.
