Northern Michigan University's jazz ensembles will return to the Reynolds Recital Hall at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30 for their first concert of the fall 2024 season. This event is free and open to the public.
The NMU Jazz band, directed by Mark Flaherty, showcases Nicholas Wegrzyn and Ryan Leavitt on alto saxophone, Shelby Dera and Nathan Anderson on tenor saxophone, Tay Linder on baritone saxophone, Niana Hughey, Joe Daniels, Kaitlyn Levine and Natalia Collins on trumpet, Evan Dutro on guitar, Nicholas Jones on piano, Eli Salin on bass, and Chris Adams and Sam Murphy on drums.
The NMU Jazz Combo, led by Patrick Booth, features Hughey, Wegrzyn, Jones and Salin, along with Davis Radde on trombone and Quinten Mosher on drums.
