Percussion Group Cincinnati will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 29, in Reynolds Recital Hall as part of Northern Michigan University's Siril Concert Series. The event is free and open to the public.
The group showcases classic and experimental music from America, Chile, South Africa and China. Its dynamic palette consists of marimbas, drums, gongs, prepared piano, a computer, a deck of cards and more. Each moment is filled with clanging, donging, clacking, ringing or profound silence.
