Northern Michigan University Theatre and Dance will host its production of "The Rocky Horror Show" Thursday-Saturday, October 22-24, 2026, in Forest Roberts Theatre.
This cult classic puts a comedic spin on science fiction and horror movies from the 1930s through the early 1960s. When a newly engaged couple gets caught in a storm, they seek shelter at the mansion of the eccentric Dr. Frank-N-Furter, a flamboyant scientist. Inside, they discover his latest creation, Rocky, a muscular, blonde-haired figure brought to life in a Frankenstein-inspired experiment, setting the stage for an unforgettable night.
The show will have various showtimes across the weekend, including a 7:30 p.m. showtime Thursday-Saturday, Oct. 22-24 and additional 10:30 p.m. showtimes on Friday, Oct. 22 and Saturday, Oct. 24. There will also be an Opening Night Party following the Thursday show, featuring complimentary food and drinks and the opportunity to meet the cast and crew.
