Northern Michigan University is offering “Summer of STEM College for Kids” programs for students in K-6 and 7-8. Classes are offered June 26-30 and July 10-14.
Students in grades K-6 can participate in morning and/or afternoon sessions. Classes include hands-on, minds-on STEM classes; LEGO robotics; coding camp; design and create; and Mission: Space. Students in grades 7-8 can participate in morning sessions in college and career STEM exploration, which feature visits to local business and industry partners.
A complete listing of classes and descriptions is included in the registration. Class fees are $75. There is an optional $10 weekly fee for bring your own lunch supervision for K-6 students.
