'Stranger Things' Actor Visits NMU March 17

David Harbour, the versatile actor best known for his role as Chief Jim Hopper on Netflix's "Stranger Things," will give a presentation at Northern Michigan University on Tuesday, March 17. 

Harbour also appears with Scarlett Johansson in Marvel Studios' upcoming "Black Widow." His other film credits include "Suicide Squad," "Hellboy" and "Brokeback Mountain."

Doors to the Northern Center ballrooms will open at 6:15 p.m., with Harbour's talk scheduled to begin at 7. Tickets need to be obtained in advance through tickets.nmu.edu. They are free for NMU students with an ID and $5 for the general public. 

The event is sponsored by Platform Personalities and the NMU Student Activity Fee.
