Northern Michigan University's Technical and Office Professionals union (UAW 1950) has ratified a one-year contract extension, with 96% support among those cast virtual ballots on Monday.
The union represents about 123 members. It accepted no salary increase for the contract year July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021, and there were no other significant changes to the agreement, according to NMU Human Resources. The contract will go to the NMU Board of Trustees for approval before the end of June.
