NMU alumna Greta Betti of Kingsford has been honored for 50 years of dedicated membership in the Beta Sigma Chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International. DKGSI promotes the professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education.
Betti previously received the Lifetime Service Award in 2017 from DKG Michigan State Organization and was honored as Beta Sigma Chapter's Woman of Distinction in 1999. After earning her bachelor of science degree in education from NMU, she began teaching elementary grades for Breitung Township Schools in Kingsford in 1956.
