Alumna Promoted at Titan Security Group

Randi Schmeltzer

Northern Michigan University alumna Randi Schmeltzer '11 MA, '14 MPA was recently promoted to vice president of sales enablement at Marksman Titan Security Group. She joined the company in 2019 and has earned multiple employee awards, including Rookie of the Year, Rising Star and MVP.

By applying her studies from NMU in communications and organization management, Schmeltzer has made an impact on companies and clients within the security industry.

“I actually started my security career in a payroll position over 10 years ago," Schmeltzer stated in a profile on the Titan website. "In that role, I worked directly with several departments and was fortunate enough to meet some incredible people,” “Those individuals showed me what the world of security was all about. As I learned how much teamwork, trust and coordination go into each and every day, I realized this was where I wanted to build my career.”

Schmeltzer then joined Titan Security Group in 2019 as a sales administration manager, overseeing sales operations, proposals and client onboarding processes. In February 2025, Schmeltzer was promoted to director of sales administration, where she led cross-functional initiatives that align sales, finance, and operations to drive efficiency and support the company's strategic growth.

With more than a decade of experience in security operations, client services, and sales administration, Schmeltzer continues to be a key leader in advancing Titan's operational excellence in her new role as vice president of sales enablement.

“For me, success is about knowing that the work I'm doing is making an impact,” Schmeltzer said. “Whether it's helping our team meet a deadline, supporting a colleague, or contributing to a win for the company, I take a lot of pride in being someone others can count on.”
