Northern Michigan University alumnus Tim Hamill was hired by the Outdoor Sportsman Group (OSG) ad sales department as the national endemic account executive.
Hamill works to promote and grow advertising and sales initiatives for OSG television networks, such as the Outdoor Channel, Sportsman Channel and World Fishing Network, as well as OSG Publishing brands like Guns & Ammo, Game & Fish, In-Fisherman. He also works with digital content and websites, according to a press release.
OSG's Vice President of Endemic Advertising Sales, Mike Savino, had this to say about Hamill: “Adding Tim as a member of our stable of professional and well-connected ad sales team is a great complement to our staff. Tim's past experience and familiarity within the outdoor lifestyle industry is an added bonus and we welcome him aboard.”
Hamill graduated from NMU in 1978 with a bachelor's degree in communications, mass media and journalism. Before joining OSG, he spent eight years working for the National Rifle Association as an account manager, North American Hunter and North American Fisherman magazines as an associate publisher, and account manager at Primedia Outdoors endemic and non-endemic media sales.
