NMU Alumnus Killed on 9/11 Remembered During Ceremony

NMU alumnus Lt. Col. Kip Taylor was paid special tribute during a ceremony honoring those killed during the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. Taylor died after terrorists hijacked American Airlines Flgiht 77 and flew it into the Pentagon.

New Play Provides a Voice for Local 9/11 Experiences

Student group Found Space Theatre will present its production of "Find A TV" during Homecoming, a play written by two NMU professors using oral histories gathered by an NMU Honors course on the experiences of Upper Peninsula residents during the terrorist attacks of 9/11.
