Bill Digneit is the Director of SISU: The Innovation Institute at Northern Michigan University, as well as the founding head of the Theatre & Dance Department at NMU. He holds a master of fine arts degree in technical direction and production management from Florida State University.
Digneit works regionally and nationally to facilitate meaningful change within the entertainment industry's inclusivity practices. He founded and launched the first fully inclusive audience experience at NMU and the “Theatre for All” program is now a cornerstone of the Theatre & Dance program.
Innovation, collaboration, listening, empathy, equity and a willingness to try something new are the pillars that Digneit's leadership is supported by in higher education. He also believes that you can achieve any goal you desire; you just have to be ready and willing to work for it.
