Kelm Leads Vollrath's North American Sales

Northern Michigan University 2006 alumnus Chris Kelm is leading the North American sales division for The Vollrath Company, a global leader in the foodservice equipment industry. He earned a bachelor's degree in information systems, with a concentration in information tech marketing.

Kelm's new responsibilities with Vollrath include managing the distribution strategy; directing, planning and developing sales activities; and establishing policies and objectives of the sales function to support the strategic objectives of the organization.

“We are excited to welcome Chris Kelm to Vollrath and leverage his valuable experience to grow our business further," said Brian Hedlund, senior vice president of Vollrath Foodservice–US and Canada.

Prior to stepping into his new role, Kelm spent more than 15 years at Johnson Controls, where he held various positions of increasing responsibility in finance, corporate strategy, commercial operations and sales management. Most recently, he was the executive director of channel strategy and commercial operations for its global products business.

In addition to his NMU degree, Kelm holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.
