Kendall Named Outstanding NMU Business Grad

Sarah Kendall of Faribault, Minn., has been named the Northern Michigan University College of Business 2020-21 outstanding graduating senior.

Kendall is graduating in May with a management degree and a 3.99 grade-point average. She was involved in TEAM Business her freshman and sophomore year. She has also served as a member and secretary of the Dean's Student Advisory Council.

Through her council involvement, Kendall has provided input on making classes better suited to students' needs and giving College of Business students more opportunities to draw on their academic learning, as well as provide them with real-world experiences. 

Kendall was also involved in several other organizations on campus, such as the Student Leader Fellowship Program, Superior Edge, Platform Personalities, Campus Cinema, and Northern Arts and Entertainment.

NMU's spring virtual commencement will be held at 10 a.m. EST Saturday, May 1. Bryan Terrell Clark, a Broadway performer who played George Washington in Hamilton, will be the keynote speaker. Learn more and access a link to watch it live at www.nmu.edu/commencement.
