NCLL Offers Chair Yoga Classes

The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning is partnering with Essentials Massage and Yoga Studio to present a five-session chair yoga program. Sessions will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Tuesdays Sept. 10, 17, 24 and Oct. 1 and 8. The location is 708 Chippewa Square, Suite 10 in Marquette.

Suitable for all ages, gentle chair yoga only requires the ability to breathe and sit upright in a chair while moving the torso and limbs. This five-week program presents an opportunity to begin exercising on a regular basis.

The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning is organized by and primarily for actively engaged seniors interested in pursuing intellectual, recreational and/or social activities.
