Northern Michigan University elevated its position in four categories in the U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings for 2020. Among Midwest regional universities, NMU tied for 76th best overall. It is also the 15th top public school, tied for 47th among best colleges for veterans and the 59th best value school.
