Northern Michigan University will hold its third annual Day of Giving to coincide with the global charitable event, Giving Tuesday, on Dec. 3. The intents are to direct giving back to NMU departments and programs, and to stock the NMU Food Pantry.
The NMU Foundation encourages faculty, staff, alumni and friends of the university to make a gift that will help to improve academic departments and increase financial aid support for students. The campus community can also participate by donating non-perishable and other items to the NMU Food Pantry. This year's goal is to collect 2,000 items.
