Northern Michigan University's Admissions Office is hosting the Marquette/Alger Counties College Fair from 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, in the Northern Center Ballrooms. Representatives from colleges and universities across the Midwest, along with the Armed Forces and ROTC programs, will participate. High school juniors and seniors and their parents are welcome to attend.
This event is part of the Michigan Association of Collegiate Registrars & Admissions Officers (MACRO) and Michigan Association for College Admission Counseling (MACAC) fair circuit that takes place throughout the state.
StriveScan, a new partner with the MACRO and MACAC fair circuit, helps to streamline how students receive information from colleges. Students have the opportunity to register for a barcode prior to the fair at www.StriveFair.com. During the fair, colleges will scan the barcode to send the student more information about their schools. The day after the fair, students will receive an emailed report with information on all the colleges that scanned their barcodes.
The event provides an opportunity for U.P. students to learn more about post-secondary options.
