NMU Hosts Virtual Alumni Socials

Northern Michigan University Alumni Relations is hosting virtual alumni socials for graduates to join college deans as they share new initiatives and other updates from the departments within their colleges. Following each update, alumni are invited to turn on their cameras and microphones to ask questions and connect with fellow Wildcats from their respective colleges

College of Arts and Sciences: Wednesday, March 31, 6:30 p.m. EST

Graduates from the College of Arts and Sciences are invited to join Dean Robert Winn for a virtual social. Alumni from the following schools and departments are invited to join: Art and Design; Biology; Chemistry; Communication and Media Studies; Earth, Environmental and Geographical Sciences; Economics; English; History; Mathematics and Computer Science; Languages, Literatures and International Studies; Music; Philosophy; Physics; Political Science; Psychology; Sociology and Anthropology; and Theatre and Dance. Registration is required and available here.

College of Health Sciences and Professional Studies: Wednesday, April 21, 6:30 p.m. EST

Graduates from the College of Health Sciences and Professional Studies are invited to join Dean Dale Kapla '90, 01 for a virtual social. Alumni from the following schools and departments are invited to join: Clinical Sciences; Criminal Justice; Education, Leadership and Public Service; Engineering Technology; Health and Human Performance; Native American Studies; Nursing; and Social Work. College of Technology and Occupational Sciences: Wednesday, April 28, 6:30 p.m. EST

Graduates from the College of Technology and Occupational Sciences are invited to join Interim Dean Steve VandenAvond and faculty members from the College of Technology and Occupational Sciences for a virtual social. Alumni from the following programs are invited to join: Automotive Services; Construction Management; Cosmetology; Electrical Line Technician; Heating, Air-Conditioning, Ventilation and Refrigeration; Hospitality Management; Indoor Agriculture; Industrial Maintenance; and Welding. Registration is required and available here.

Once alumni register for a social, they will receive the Zoom link to join the conversation. These events are part of an ongoing series of virtual socials for alumni focused on the Colleges at NMU.
