NMU Offers Webinars for Two-Year College Professionals

Northern Michigan University's Global Campus is hosting an Online and Onward webinar series for two-year college faculty and advising and transfer professionals.

“While the series includes content ranging from general information about online learning with NMU to program-specific features, it is designed to identify clear transfer pathways and opportunities for creating program partnerships between two-year colleges and NMU's Global Campus,” said Dan Freeborn, assistant director of marketing and enrollment for Global Campus. “Our hope is to help two-year college professionals feel confident guiding their students through a successful transition to an online bachelor's program with NMU.” 

An Online Learning with NMU webinar will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, and 9 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4.

Other webinars and dates are: RN to BSN Online Degree Completion, 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, and 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20; Applied Workplace Leadership Online Bachelor's Degree, 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6; Bachelor of Science in Management Online Degree, 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18; Psychology Online Bachelor's Degree, 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28; MLT to MLS: Laboratory Medicine Online Degree Completion, 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov 5; and Criminal Justice/Loss Prevention Management Online Bachelor's Degrees, at a time and date to be determined.

Community and technical college professionals can visit https://nmu.edu/online/webinars to browse topics and register for events. All events are free and will be hosted via Zoom. Those who register will receive meeting details and login information in emails leading up to each event. Additional events will be added throughout the fall semester.
