NMU Presents Spotlight Variety Show

Northern Michigan University's Theatre and Dance Department will present a live-stream production of its Spotlight Variety Show at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 15-Saturday, April 17.

During the “end-of-the-year” showcase, NMU musical theater and theater students will perform a two-hour concert of various musical theater solos and duets to close out the 2020-21 academic season and show off what they have been working on throughout the academic year.

The production will feature performances of the following songs: “I Wanna Be a Producer,” “Seasons of Love,” “Magic to Do,” “Back on Base,” and “Sit Down You're Rockin' the Boat.” Students enrolled in TH 247, Performance Studio, will perform the following selections: “Agony,” “Lovely,” “Marry the Man Today” and “She Loves Me Not.”

Tickets are $17 for the general public, $12 for seniors, military and NMU employees and $5 for NMU students. They can be purchased here. Tickets are also available via email at tickets@nmu.edu, by phone at 906-227-1032 or at the Berry Events Ticket Office from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday through Friday by appointment only.
