Northern Michigan University President Brock Tessman will meet with NMU alumni and friends at a reception-style event from 5:30-7 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, at the Houghton venue Bonfire at The Continental Fire Company. He will provide a university update and chat with attendees over complimentary hors d'oeuvres and beverages.
RSVPs are requested in advance at nmu.edu/alumni/events. Tessman is making stops across the Upper Peninsula for Meet the President events early in his tenure to familiarize himself with the region and to interact with alumni. He held one in Escanaba previously and will be in Iron Mountain Aug. 9. More dates and locations will be added for the remainder of the year and in 2024.
