NMU Theatre Hosts Talkback on Mental Health Portrayals

Northern Michigan University Theatre and Dance invites Next to Normal audiences to a post-show talkback with Great Lakes Recovery Centers immediately following the performance on Thursday, Feb. 3.

Clinician Paul Olson and GLRC Foundation Coordinator Amy Poirier will lead a discussion of the portrayals of mental health and its treatment in entertainment, as well as the ways in which it can impact audiences.

This talkback is included with a ticket purchased for Thursday evening's performance. Tickets are available online at tickets.nmu.edu, over the phone at 906-227-1032, or in person at the Berry Events Ticket Office.

The Forest Roberts Theatre Box Office will be open nightly at 6:30 p.m. beginning Wednesday, Feb. 2. Next to Normal has performances at 8 p.m. Feb. 2-5, with a 2 p.m. matinee on Feb. 5.
