Scholarship Application Window Open

More than 300 donor-funded scholarships for the 2021-22 academic year are available at Northern Michigan University through the financial support of alumni, faculty, staff and friends of the university. The application system is open through Monday, Feb. 15.

Students can submit an application through the online system by logging in through MyNMU and clicking on Financial Aid – Donor-funded Scholarships. Newly admitted students can click NMU Foundation Donor-funded Scholarships on the Admitted to NMU tab in MyNMU.

Scholarships that are offered through the NMU Foundation are privately funded by donors who have created these opportunities for a variety of reasons. Often, these scholarships or endowments are established to honor a family member, classmate, mentor, friend or faculty member. In some instances, the scholarship supports a specific area of study or students from a particular region.

Criteria and award amounts vary from scholarship to scholarship. Learn more at www.nmu.edu/financialaid/node/82.

For more information, contact the Financial Aid Office at 906-227-2327 or email fao@nmu.edu.
