College for Kids is returning to Northern Michigan University's Seaborg Center for children in grades K-6. The hands-on STEM classes will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 21, and on Saturday, Nov. 11. They address motion, engineering, gravity and other subjects.
The programs are offered through a partnership with the NMU School of Education, Leadership and Public Service. Registration is $15 per class, with a snack provided. See the full schedule of programs and register at nmu.edu/seaborg/student-programs.
