SLFP Recruits, Thanks Mentors

The Student Leader Fellowship Program (SLFP) at Northern Michigan University is recruiting mentors from the community and university for the 2022-23 academic year. Each mentor is matched with a student fellow for one academic year and acts as a role model, adviser and friend.

Mentors provide guidance and support as the students strive to become leaders of their communities through service. Activities they engage in together range from community meetings, conferences and workshops to hiking, biking, snowshoeing and getting coffee or a meal together.

If you or someone you know is interested in serving as a mentor, email slfp@nmu.edu or call 906-227-1771 for more information.
