Voting Issues Forum at NMU Thursday

The Political Science and Public Administration Department at Northern Michigan University will present a forum titled "Making Democracy Work: Voting Issues and the Census" on Thursday, Oct. 24. The event is open to the public and will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. in 1318 Jamrich Hall.

Specific presenters and topics are as follows:

Linda Talsma, Marquette County Clerk, "Proposition 3 and Changes in Michigan Voting Law"

Jo Floey, League of Women Voters, Michigan, "Proposition 2, Redistricting and Gerrymandering Reform"

Priscilla Burnham, local Attorney, "2020 Census Issues"
