Northern Michigan University's Continuing Education and Workforce Development Department presents "Essentials of Nonprofit Management" with Cedric Calhoun, FASAE, CAE. Both sessions run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Ballroom IV of the Northern Center on Tuesday, Mar. 10 and Tuesday, April 14. This two-part lunch and learn event aims to highlight current best practices, lessons learned in the field and trends in effective nonprofit management.
Calhoun has more than 20 years of marketing, business development and membership and volunteer relations experience. He served as the executive vice president of the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA) and brought about organizational change and financial sustainability by implementing aggressive governance changes and technology management strategies to ensure long-term growth.
